Dr. Randy Peck: Jerry, who do you see as being most appropriate to take the UNCOMMON Coaching for DESTINY course?

Dr. Jerry Graham: Well, I think anyone who wants to get closer to God... I do believe it needs to be someone who has a walk with God. I wouldn't go as far as to say that they must have read the entire New Testament, but someone who has a working knowledge of the Scriptures, who is plugged into a church or a spiritual accountability group, but who definitely wants to take the next step...closer to God and that's what the Journaling aspect of 201 (Destiny course) will provide. The other side of the coin is there are those who maybe just really want to pursue what their life purpose is, what their destiny is, and what 201 (Destiny course) does is it combines those two desires, but if there is somebody who is not (currently?) wanting to go forward with their relationship with God - at least at this point in time - but who wants the destiny part, then that's where they just go to a life coach and get some life focus coaching. So I think the target here is really the people who want to do both, who want do deepen their relationship with God and take the revolutionary step of asking God what is their life purpose.

Randy is taking it (journaling) to a level I had never even dreamed of or thought about... One of the things I liked about it (Destiny course) was the covenant relationships, where we were going to be accountable to journal every day...

Almost immediately I began to identify some of the barriers that were holding me back and were keeping me discouraged in my life, keeping me unmotivated. As we went through the course, I really re-discovered my unique purpose in life and subsequently began to really discover what my church's unique purpose was. And once I discovered that and had it written out and began to make everything in my life align with that, and take time each day to journal, and just record how God was working and what my assignment was for that day, and how I was to focus each day on that, my energy level went up, my work ethic went way back up. And it has helped me in the past 3 months to really stay focused...

One very tangible change that happened ... our family's income has gone up nearly 70% in the last 3 months. I've got a lot of stories I could share about that. ... God has brought a lot of BIG time answers to prayer just in the last few months. I think I would have missed those answers to prayer if ...

Dr. Randy Peck: How will exposing pastors to the UNCOMMON Coaching for DESTINY course help them with their congregations?

Rev. Matt Gregory: I think every pastor wants to see his people really grow, and I think sometimes we don't know how to do that, and the easiest way to do that really is to get our people meeting with God. There's times I feel overwhelmed with the load - the counseling load, or just the different kinds of questions or the number issues that are coming up and one of the most freeing things I've found is that when I can get people to meet with God every day and give them some how tos so that they're doing that, God takes care of those things. He never designed for the pastor to be the answer man for every situation and to handle all those things. That's a role that only God can fill. But we've got people every week who are trying to get all of their spiritual food for the next week or maybe the next month coming on Sunday mornings and we just can't give them enough in one meal, and so if we can help people develop a habit where they're meeting with God and feeding themselves spiritually every day, I think they'll just take off and grow and we as pastors will be amazed at what they do in their lives and where they go and what great things they're able to do.
